SIMON MOREL
Simon Morel, aka “SIMON SAYZ”, is the President of Development for Two Much Entertainment. Simon was born and raised in Rhode Island. Growing up on the East Coast, Simon was introduced to the urban club scene at a young age. He immediately embraced the vibrance of that enviornment: the multitude of lights that faceted its entirety, the diversity of sounds and music styles blaring over the speakers, the expressions of unequivocal excitement amongst the diverse crowd, the asynchronous waves of physical expression that pulsed through those who dared to let the sounds literally move them. From the very first moment he felt that power enrapture him, Simon knew that he would strive to one day have that same affect on multitudes of people. Taking a turn at spinning in the clubs, introducing new sounds from records he personally deemed ‘Hot’, Simon quickly earned the trust of his club goers, who gave him the nickname, “Simon Sayz”. Holding true to that moniker, what “Simon Sayz”, the “hot records” proved time and time again to be sure-fire crowd pleasers.
Simon’s passion for making people dance extended further than simply being a DJ. After quickly discovering his niche in producing, Simon moved to LA, and honed his skills, with the help of the Community College of Rhode Island and The Los Angeles Recording Workshop. To date, Simon’s talent and work ethic have given him the ability to take advantage of opportunities that most people his age can only dream about. He has performed for millions on several different world tours and his client list includes Lupe Fiasco, the Jackson 5, Janet & Latoya Jackson, Mya, Brandy, Kanye West, N.E.R.D, Bryce Wilson, and many more.
Simon’s current projects include his debut album, a collaborative effort with Salim Grant. Together, they form The Autobotix. Simon and his production partner, Crystal Grant, also lead the creative aspect and production on three separate, but equally and exceptionally talented artists: Raquel Castro (Pop/R&B), Megan Carey (Rock/Alternative), and YM (Hip Hop).
These upcoming projects are sure to take off with a vengeance, to further reinforce, the already widely held belief, “What SIMON SAYZ…GOES”
